Designed and developed the Synapse v3 Survey Runtime, a collection of component libraries written in C# that provide dynamic and feature-rich survey rendering and collection functionality. This library provides the capability for unique and fully customizable Internet survey rendering and validation, using a proprietary Document Object Model and events that trigger default functionality or can be hooked to dynamically-compiled C# or VB.Net code, enabling unlimited customization. Survey pages consist of Xml files containing the DOM definitions for all page elements as well as CSS style specifications and pre-compiled custom event handlers. On request, the Runtime engine processes the requested Xml file, rendering dynamic HTML that is then served to the client, and then again using the instructions in the Xml file to validate the returned data. While the data storage (post validation) is extensible to use any back-end database, the default data storage mechanism is designed to interface with SQL Server 2005.
