Designed and developed a Windows-based survey design program allowing users to design and deploy surveys to the Synapse V3 Survey Collection System. Written in C#, this application uses an Access database to store survey design information and publishes compiled surveys to an SQL Server 2005 database. The software allows users to create and modify survey design elements, customizing the look and feel (through the use of CSS style sheets), content (allowing for multiple language HTML captions to be added and edited for each element), and display and validation logic (through the use of automatically-generated or user-entered C# or VB.NET code). Upon survey compilation, survey design is validated, all custom code is compiled (via System.CodeDom), and a set of Xml pages are generated that contain all of the instructions that the survey Runtime uses to display and collect survey data.
